She stands all alone on the corner
Shivering in the cold, dark rain
It mingles with tears running down her cheeks
She wishes it could wash her clean
She doesn't know who she can turn to
She doesn't know where she should go
She cowers alone in the shadows
One look at her and you'd know
She needs comfort, she needs a friend
Someone who loves her with a love that won't end
She needs a shelter; a place safe and warm
Someone to bring her in, out of the storm
A little boys stands in a graveyard
Angrily wiping his tears
'Cause they just buried his Mama
And he just can't leave her here
He doesn't know what's gonna happen
Now that she's gone away
He cannot fathom the reason
Why she couldn't have stayed
He needs comfort, he needs a friend
Someone who loves him with a love that won't end
He needs a shelter; a place safe and warm
Someone to bring him in, out of the storm
Jesus looks down from His throne up above
His eyes are upon us, and they're full of love
He is our comfort, He is our friend
He really loves us, and His love never ends
He is our Shelter, our place safe and warm
He'll bring us in, out of the storm

When you look into the mirror, think not upon how others perceive you; instead, think about how God sees you. To Him, you are the most beautiful thing on earth. And that's all that matters.
Please feel free to comment. I'd love to hear what you think of my feeble attempts to convey my thoughts, feelings, and imaginings.
